THANK YOU for another amazing DesignerCon! This year’s convention was even bigger than the last. The floor was packed on Saturday and it was also busy on Sunday. I got to meet so many wonderful people from all over the world. This year has been difficult for me as an artist. I’ve been fighting through lack of motivation, stress, and it feels like I have been in a constant artist block for the majority of the year.Β Seeing everyone this weekend really reaffirmed why I keep making art and creating new things. Your appreciation means so much to me. So thank you for all that you do!
I will definitely be at DesignerCon again next year! In case you haven’t heard, the convention will be moved to the bigger Anaheim Convention Center, and it will be THREE days instead of two!
Since conventions take so much time and energy, I’ll be in “recovery mode” from now until basically the end of the year. For me, that means staying in bed and Netflix all day. I still have some projects that I am working on, but I really want to take it easy for a while. Keep an eye out for the upcoming Gift Wrapped Show at Clutter Gallery in December, a holiday sale, and a Kickstarter toy launching in February!
