Hello everyone! I’ve been slacking on blog posts because I’m really busy with work and stuff, but here’s a summary of what I’ve been up to and a preview of what’s to come!
Without further ado, here’s me at the Hello Kitty Exhibit at the Japanese American National Heritage Museum.
In addition to a fascinating history of the Sanrio icon, there was an art gallery at the end featuring work from some of my favorite artists. This is a beautiful painting by Martin Hsu (unrelated) and a giant sculpture by Simone Legno of Tokidoki.
It was the last week of the exhibit so I am really happy that I was able to go. I was never really into Hello Kitty, but this exhibit plus all the great art made me feel so happy!
In toy news, I was so honored to be able to paint this adorable neko resin figure by @s_a_monster.
The sculpt on this kitty is so smooth and perfect. I couldn’t wait to paint it!
I also have a new tutorialΒ in my blog, and more in the works!
As for my next toy line, I finally found the time to continue working on my Delectable Dunnys this week. You’ll see some more photos this week, with a release planned for sometime next week. Stay tuned for details!
